Ulrich Herbert
Ulrich Herbert (born 24 September 1951) is a German historian. He is a professor at the University of Freiburg, and a specialist in German history during World War II. In 1999, Herbert received the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Prize in modern and contemporary history. He is a specialist on the Nazi era and has edited "European history in the 20th Century," a series of 10 surveys by German scholars.
